Anyone else have the pleasure of having a nice warm Efes or Troy beer from Turkey. TDY there last year and it wasn't too bad. Completely un-regulated so after the 2nd one it actually tastes pretty good.

Actually I'm an Old English or "OE" guy, I like to poor one out for all of my dead homiez......

Yes I had the pleasure of some Efes when I was in Turkey back in 88 down at the Lick. Did a TDY as well for a few and partied as much as possible. If I recall the bar of choice in rip-off alley was the T-bird.

Talking Cold Beer!!!

Im from PA, which means my vote is by default for "lager". If you have to ask which kind of lager, you arent from PA. That being said, beer is best drank when working on your Ford!

macro,

always have rolling rock (longnecks) in the fridge somewhere.
all around awesome beer. its a staple food, like bread.

just stumbled across a beer by bert grants. i think it was called 'fresh hops' beer. it was by far the best 'new' beer i have had in quite awhile, problem is its seasonal, and according to the company, the season is over. their scotch ale is really good too.

when in the portland, or area always make it a point to drink as much deschuttes black butte porter as possible. next to guiness on tap this is my favorte dark beer, only probelm is i cant get that at home in new jersey.

When one of these "other" beer brewers, decide to build a brewery here in the states that provides jobs, building the brewery's and providing jobs in the brewery, I'll drink the brew that put over $100K in my pocket

Now come on Gator, you're asking me to believe your beer palate is dictated by political correctness??
BTW, Guiness has breweries in just about EVERY piece of real estate that qualifies as a country on the planet . IN FACT as strange as it may seem, they have the license to import and market BUD in IRELAND. ANNNDDD, I've seen Irish guys in the pubs there drinking it !!
HMMMMM......

100K in your pocket?? Wuddit you fall down and break a hip after drinkin some???

I love dark beers but for daily gulping, I buy Keystone Lite! Around $5/12 PK, tastes great!
