If I'm just to relax and have a cold one, I choose Sam Adams Boston Lager. However, if I'm getting together with the boys and there is a large quantity to be consumed, it's Miller Lite all the way.

JimMc: I make my own beer, also. But I make it at one of those brew-it-yourself places. Main reason is price where I live. A case of 24 Labatts Blue or similar is $30.65 (got to pay for the free medical care somehow).
I like to make German-style beers. I also like to play with the hops quantities to boost taste.

Black 2000 SC short-box XLT. 4.2 V-6, 5-speed, 3.55 Limited Slip. Side steps, CD, remote entry, factory box liner. My add-ons: Older Windstar (driver's side) wiper blade - the one with the air scoop, because I don't slow down when it rains; "f150online" sticker and snazzy Tweetie Bird floor mats.
My second of the "new" F150s. Great trucks!

I ran across a good one at a restaurant in western mass called Samual Smith's Oatmeal Stout. If you like dark beers, try it if you can find it. I haven't been able to find it in NH. It's probably just as well since I found out I have an alergy to Barley. Doesn't that draw a large vacuum? I can still sneak one by on occasion but as much as I like beer, this was a devistating discovery. I guess you guys will have to drink mine for me.

Zeke, I go by Epping twice a year taking my wife to her hometown, Barrington.
Do you know Jeff Denoncour(sp?), he was an Army buddy of mine from Epping. He'd be in his mid forties.

Three brewery presidents were at a meeting in Chicago and went to lunch together.
The first, president of Miller, proclaimed to the waiter "Give me a bottle of the best beer in the world, a Miller beer".
The second, president of Coors, had to top that."Waiter, please bring me a bottle of the best tasting mountain spring water brewed beer ever created on the planet-a Coors beer".
The third, August Busch III, said to the waiter, "Bring me a Coke". The other presidents stared at Mr. Busch, unable to speak, while the waiter said "Uh .. aren't you going to have a Budweiser?" Mr. Busch replied, "No, if these gentlemen aren't going to drink beer, then neither will I."

JD, that was a good one.
My favorite beer has to be : Kitzmann pilsner brewed in Erlangen, Germany.
Favorite beer here in America : Oldenburg Raspberry Wheat brewed in Ft. Mitchell, KY.
I try to avoid any beer that has to be froze to death to be drinkable.

I can't figure out why anybody would spend their hard-earmed money on light beer. Just buy regular beer, add water, and voila! - light beer. And you get more too.
Same with 2% milk. I get totally pissed when my wife buys that stuff. I tell her if I wanted 2% milk I'd just add water to my 100% milk.
Anyway, favorite beers:
Used to be a Bud man. That was when I live in a small town 40 miles form St. Louis and I was shut off from the world of microbrews.
Now, I like...
Anchor Porter
Anchor Steam
Anchor Liberty Ale
Dixie Crimson Voodoo Ale
Dixie Blackened Voodoo Lager
Road Dog Scottish Ale
Old Scratch Lager
Guiness Stout
I like 'em dark, heavy and robust. No watered-down beer for me!

not that it matters to me lyonsd, but 2% milk is not watered-down milk. It only contains 2% milk fat.
Besides, why drink milk (of any kind) when you can substitute a beer for it?
