I assume you mean the Huntsville in the Muskokas?

I just heard now, all schools have been closed in my area, and it's snowing sideways right now, with the wind. We're supposed to get a couple of feet over the next few days with 30 cm's just today. I guess we're making up for the lack of snow we've had so far this season.

The Huntsville area already has a ton of the white stuff. If you're driving, just make sure you have a good set of tires that are made to handle the snow. Huntsville is about 2 1/2 hours north of me. I spend most of my summers up there about 40 minutes north west of Huntsville. It's beautiful country.

So you'll be landing at Pearson/Toronto, with a bit of a hike ahead of you. Just rent a 4 wheel drive (chances are you'll be okay with a regular car, but ya never know) and if you have time while in Huntsville, take a drive through Algonquin Park. They have a visitor center, and Algonquin is right beside Huntsville.

Did 4H get you through there with no problem?

Ha.. that reminds me of a long time ago when me and my brother were ****ing around in his F350 in the snow... Hit a nice ditch, let's just say both our heads hit the ceiling pretty hard.

And for all of you actually getting snow, I hate you. All we ever get here anymore is ICE. I would much rather deal with snow than ice.

These aren't as impressive as some of y'all pictures of snow in this thread....

Already with an inch of ice and starting to snow at sundown - we got 6 more inches of snow after this picture was taken...then in melted and refroze into 2 more inches of ice. This area was paralyzed today! (with another storm coming in tomorrow!)

This is back in November...should have taken some yesterday before I plowed the driveway...had around a foot. Even got my little lawn tractor stuck while plowing and had to pull it free with the truck.

Very unusual for the Seattle area. We are only 200 feet above sea level at the house and we got 6 inches (still snowing) and 1/2" ice.... now forcasted 2 to 4 more inches with more ice....

Last night, when it started

This morning

Snow with the ice layer....

And, just for the guys......... these ladies actually wear bikini's while serving coffee to all their drive through patrons!

I'm actually on a gravel driveway that has not yet been plowed. I know they area well because I cut the grass there in the summer.

The 4H did very well. I stopped in a drift while going up hill to take a picture, and it climbed the hill quite easily. This snow is very fluffy and light. I had to go through a good two feet at the road from the plow. That's why there is snow in the grill and on the hood.

The last time it snowed I drove around on the grass with six people in the truck. It was a beautiful view and they all loved it. They all trust I know where I'm going.

Snow IS a LOT of fun when it's the right consistency. I've had the most fun of the years in the light and fluffy stuff.
