Engine was big bucks.
Automatic was big bucks.
I don't recall any kind of numbers for the AC which would have been substantial.
It would have been standard or it would have been a three digit dollar amount.
I'm pretty sure it was standard across all trim lines.
It may have been a delete item, meaning a buyer ordering a truck could could decline the AC for a small credit.
I'll verify tomorrow with my sources.
How is this an issue for you?

I had some extra hubcaps and I tried to order a truck to fit and save on the hubcaps as a delete item but ..... no one sells a truck with hubcaps anymore.
The A/C on a 2000 XLT 4x4 was optional however I think a lot of them have it. I'm sure if you look long enough you'll find one without, if that's what you're looking for.
I found documentation for 2000.
Four trim lines:
Work Series
XL
XLT
Lariat
Air Conditioning:
Lariat = Standard
XLT = package 507A (AC plus front and rear anti-lock 4-wheel disc brakes) No Charge
XL = AC Option MSRP $805, Invoice $684
Work Series = AC Option MSRP $805, Invoice $684
When the manufacturer offers a package for 'no charge' you can see how some people would refer to it as 'Standard' and some 'Optional'.
I could not find a AC delete credit for the 2000 XLT and Lariat.
In 1998, the buyer could delete the AC from the XLT and Lariat for a credit of $805.

The window sticker (I'm looking at it right now) for my 2000 XLT 4x4 has A/C listed under Discounted Equipment, not Standard Equipment. I got an $805.00 discount on it but it was not standard.
