Firechief beats puppy to death

http://www.nbclosangeles.com/news/lo...f-Defense.html

Plenty of other stories on it. Makes me wana go make a visit down to this mans house. Also had heard he grabbed the dogs lower jaw, and tried to remove it from the dog, breakin the jaw and forcing the dog to be put down, after also being beaten by a rock.

Thats a "hero" right there for ya.... scum

According to Staggs, Johnson hit the dog repeatedly with a closed fist, put his hands in the puppy's mouth and tried to break its jaws, and eventually beat the dog over the head repeatedly with a large rock from the front yard.
Some of you are computer nerds. PM me, please.

Hundred bucks says, he gets off with MAYBE a slap on the wrist, and right now he is on a LONG PAID vacation. Fawkin "good boy network" at its best.

Sad fact is that you would win that bet..
It would be nice if he was punished and a judge made an example out of him.

A 6 month old puppy!?!?!? What a POS!!!! You are a huge vagina if you beat a helpless 6 month old puppy who wandered from it's home. Stories like this really make my blood boil.

Makes me want to drop off one of these on the guys lawn. We'll see how many hits he gets in on the dog before going to the hospital.
(That is my friend's kennel that I worked for)

I say you go visit this jag bag and beat him with a rock and try and remove his jaw by breaking and see how he likes it.

what a little man Maybe the ladder will "suddenly" slide shut while he raises it smashing the crud out of his fingers. Maybe then he will know how the dog felt getting pelted with a rock.

Would love to.

I like the dogs Dankle posted. Also have a pit and a big *** Newfie myself, lets see him beat them, with me standing right behind.

Seriously though, wouldn't mind visiting the guy. Heard they will be doing protests at his house. His phone number has already disconnected. Had heard people were posting his address on the comment sections on many of the articles. Haven;t found one..... yet.

Wow...

If he did that, then he needs to be put to sleep too...

I'd never hurt any animal that didn't pose an imminent/definite threat to me or my family. If there was another boulder around, someone should have bashed him in the head with it...

Sick...

My former chief got 3 years in jail for stealing $2500 from our department.

These guys take an oath, and prosecutors are now holding the them to it. No more free rides because you do a heroic job.

He needs to go down. I hope he gets some time and not just a fine. He needs to lose his job.

So you don't think an Assitant Fire chief's character, one who deals with kids, and adults alike, should be considered ? You don't hold those higher officials to a higher moral standard, especially one in his position ? What about teachers ? You think they should have the same standards as burger flippers ? Would you send your children to school if that was the case ? There are plenty of jobs that require different things, and different qualities. Its not a "one size fits all" kinda world. His job forced him into a higher category. One that is in the spotlight more so then many others, and one that people expect certain things from. I guess it was surprising to see, someone capable of doing this, is also capable of folling enough people to get to where he is at. thats all.

That being said, I brought up his position and job, not to show how much worse he should get it, but rather, how he will get off because of it. Its the "good boy network" where they look out after eachother. Police investigate police (sheriff investigate city, city does it for feds, feds do it for sheriff). Its your "good buddy" investigating you. Its a crap system. I here too many times where these crooked cops and firefighters don't see the justice I would. Its a double standard. He is on PAID vacation right now, for crying out loud. This man should have been fired. No questions asked. No excuse. Studies have shown OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER that people who murder animals in such horrible ways, most often "graduate" to humans. This man needs to be put down before he does any more harm to this world. He is an EVIL person, one who needs to see a gruesome end.

The link I posted has pics of the dog before, and after the beating. You can see what kind of dog it was. It was apparently well trained. Was being handles by another neighbor, when the Fire Chief pushed him aside, and said he would take the dog the remainder of the way. When the first neighbor turned around, that was when he heard a yelp. It was the firefighter trying to pry the 6 month old dogs face apart. When the neighbor tried to stop him, he was pushed down. The Chief then went to get an 11inch round rock to continue the beating. When he was done, he tried to hide the dog in some bushes. The vet who treated the dog, said she had never seen a dogs head so beaten and caved in. Even after car accidents. She said this was the worse beating she had seen any animal take, and it was still alive. The owner says the wimpers and cries from the dog will haunt the family forever.

Someone NEEDS to do something. NOW.

That's sad. I imagine the inurys on his wrist and thumb are from sticking his hands in the dogs mouth. What a jackass.

No, his position doesn't mean jack squat. 10 years ago it would have, and it should mean something today, but seriously, there are people out here in every position, cops, firefighters, teachers, boy scout leaders, coaches, whatever that are such douches that it isn't even funny.
How someone can say that would expect someone in his position to be of a certain moral character with a straight face is beyond me.
You are right, he SHOULD be of that higher moral standard, but real world, most people in those positions got there based on who they know and who they blow, regardless of being qualified or being a douchebag in general.
It's a joke. I wish this guy was near me, it burns my *** up to hear about someone hurting a defenseless animal like that.

this is terrible, i hope he gets a new one ripped. i got a german pup that is about that age. even if a dog that size was attacking someone, acting in self defense would not require mortally wounding the dog. hell if the dog was really being "dangerous" all he had to do was hold if by the neck to the ground. i hope the prosecutors understand that, when he tries to plead his "self defense bs escuse"

RIVERSIDE -- A high-ranking L.A. County firefighter placed on paid leave after the alleged fatal beating of a puppy has disappeared.

Investigators trying to interview Glynn Johnson say they cannot locate him.

The Riverside County Sheriff's Department is now asking anyone with information in the animal cruelty investigation to call Senior Detective Cherie Blossfield at 951-210-1000.
Hmmm... did someone here from LA county get to him?! If so...
