They're going to keep defending black people and framing whites and nobody is gonna do a thing about it.

Some astounding replies in this thread but given the demographic, I'm not surprised.

I must say it is disappointing, but somewhat of a relief. Never before have I been so tired of one man being blamed for every problem this country has faced. It is now Barack Obama's turn to CHANGE things in this country. No more excuses that it's Bush's fault. With majorities in both the House and Senate all of America's problems now fall at the feet of the Democrats.

All of the pie in the sky talk from Obama will now be scrutinized. The media will now start to hold his feet to the fire. No more excuses.

I second this. And the democrats will just raise taxes and "redistribute the wealth". AKA, they tax me who busted his a*s through college to get a great paying job and take an extra cut out of my already dwindled down paycheck and give it to a person who sits on their a*s all day and watches Jerry Springer. That's a stimulus plan right??

IMO, the media and the Democrats will continue to blame Bush for years and years to come. There will be plenty of excuses when their policies fail.

The 'pie in the sky' talk will not be scrutinized. It will be praised.

Obama's feet will not be held to the fire. It will be said the problems he inherited from Bush are so great, he just needs more time and support.

Where was everyone screaming about history being made when the first black congressman served, or the first time a woman became a CEO.

I hate to sound cynical, but get over the color of the man's skin. That's not what scares me, it's his policies and lack of experience that motivated my vote.

I totally agree that Bush will continue to be blamed in the future for Obama's missteps. This can only go on for so long. The media will "tip toe" around Obama for a while, but at some point it will end. It won't be for a while, but his appeal will fade. He won't be able to do all of the things he has promised during his campaign.

Loyal followers are quick to point fingers when they don't get their due. We will get tired of hearing people say, "but he promised..." Give it time, the masses will turn and it won't be pretty. There will be a lot more of the race card being thrown, but that won't be enough. Obama's background will be finally be scrutinized, tapes will start to surface of Obama with lord knows who, some of his associations will reappear, there will be a thorough investigation into Tony Rezko (Rezkogate), and the scandals will mount like the taxes on the "rich".
