Now I am just playing devils advocate here but they, meaning the city, is using the same logic. Why invest time/money/resources to build a speed bump. What percentage of fatal crashes or serious injury crashes happen on your street. Probably very, very small IF ANY AT ALL.

Now trust I see people driving HUA all the time. Kinda what I do for a living. I have made requests for speed bumps on streets I thought needed them and got denied by Fire.

Best advice I can give and have given and seen it work is attack the politicans on the issue. Get a petition together with as many people as possible to sign it and let them know that if they (politicians) are not going to listen to you that you are sure that when their term is up you can elect someone that will. Believe it or not I have seen it work.

good luck with the speed bumps
