After I heard it, I figured McCain would have to suspend his campaign again.
But no, while Obama was laying out his economic policy, McCain was discussing Bill Ayers.
i think your right raoul, yeah hes ahead in the polls 6-10% (depending on the poll) but with all this ACORN crap going on it seems as though we are set for 4 years of a liberal president and a filibuster proof very liberal congress. i wonder how much crap they will pass.

mccain is supposed to put out his economic plan for the middle class today. so we shall see what he has to offer. it might be better!

Why does McCain always counterpunch?
The cagey veteran lets the 'kid' go first.
Obama doesn't pick Clinton so McCain tries to get slick with Palin and it turns out everyone is terrified Todd could end up holding the nuclear football and he damn sure wasn't vetted.

Somebody (maybe Rove) made sure the Republican convention followed the Dem.

McCain suspends his campaign but, plays both sides of the bailout until Obama shows his hand, then doesn't even risk going the other way. Maverick?

Now Obama lists economic points,
and McCain will parse them and come out the next day with his.
Obama has already laid claim to the good stuff.

I'm 53, retiring in 2 years.
I have significant resources I can't get to until 59.5 without penalty.
Obama will let me get at 10k per yr w/o penalty.

McCain needs to at least steal that one, or better.

Is that not already the case? I mean, can you not do that now, and not get penalized?

So than why do we HAVE to do it in Darfur? Who is to say that Darfur wants us there? Why do you want to rape and pillage their villages? Obama's a WAR CRIMINAL!!! IMPEACH OBAMA!!

Watch how your lefty rhetoric gets thrown RIGHT BACK AT YOU.

Ohh yaeah... Good ol Billy C. tried the Somali thing... "Black Hawk Down" ring a bell?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Mogadishu_(1993)

you think Barry is going to do much better?
Obama pledges to “cut tens of billions of dollars” in defense spending, “cut investments” in missile defense systems and “slow our development of future combat systems.”

In addition to budget cuts and curtailing weapons research and development, Obama concludes the video by pledging to refrain from developing new nuclear weapons, to negotiate with Russia to take intercontinental missiles “off hair-trigger alert” and to “achieve deep cuts in our nuclear arsenals.”
See him in all his YouTube glory:

in his own words...

I find it comical how the libs will cry how thin our forces are spread... and everything else... yet your little pet projects of Darfur and Somalia are ok for deployed forces? Is this before or after we magically pull out of Iraq and double forces in Afghanistan?

There is a 10% penalty for cashing in 401k or IRAs prior to 59 1/2.

It's there to keep lazy azzed goat herders from retiring at 55. They need to work until they are at least 60!

It doesn't matter to Obama... you're going to get taxed on it coming out anyway. He'll let you take it early because it's a nice untaped pool of tax money he can grab 5 years sooner.

Hope you don't run afoul of his capitol gains "penalties"...

Yes, of course it's taxed at regular tax rates, but I think Raoul was referring to the extra 10% penalty on early withdrawal. That is a pretty substanial difference.

I am asking you, why not forces in Darfur? It appears that they need some type if infrastructure installed, if that's your reasoning for going into Iraq. Oddly similar, but yet, we didn't invade to help the citizens.

Well I just saw McCain lay out his plan.
He is against waving the penalty.

If he wins, I'll work 3 more years, in Texas.

Yeah, if I don't retire in two then I need to move to San Antonio next year(54) for three, which would have me retire at 57 vice 55.

You actually believe that arguably the most advanced, technologically equipped military in the world could not find a bunch of bombs buried in the sand?

That would just be a nice prolonged vacation.

Math question.
McCain proposses doubling the dependent child credit from $3,500 to $7,000
Then his example of a family of four (2 kids) making 42k
says they pay $4,200 less under his plan than under Obama's.

Hello?
That family got a new $7,000 credit under McCain yet they only save $4,200 more?
(his words from today)

WTF?
