this girl did mention that she would like to have more kids. which is cool with me. and it sounds like she is starting to get out of immature girl mode... but she still has a LONG way to go if she expects to keep a guy like me around

If are emotionally healthy feel special and cared about you will be ok...If she is emotionally healthy and cares about you for you all the other stuff will work itself out.
Since you view her as a perspective family member you HAVE to get to know her family and kids and see how it fits and how you feel afterward. Also look up her criminal history on the internet after asking...it's public record.
Domestic violence like substance abuse often bleeds over into everything.

hey guys. I've started to get romantically involved with a single mother after being single for 5 years. I don't know why or how it happened but things are starting to get somewhat serious pretty fast. I'm looking for some mature advice here. anyone else go through this?
