this girl did mention that she would like to have more kids. which is cool with me. and it sounds like she is starting to get out of immature girl mode... but she still has a LONG way to go if she expects to keep a guy like me around

A healthy relationship is the bottom line.
If are emotionally healthy feel special and cared about you will be ok...If she is emotionally healthy and cares about you for you all the other stuff will work itself out.

Since you view her as a perspective family member you HAVE to get to know her family and kids and see how it fits and how you feel afterward. Also look up her criminal history on the internet after asking...it's public record.
Domestic violence like substance abuse often bleeds over into everything.

lol dude i feel for ya now... i met this single mom, she's got an amazing body, easy to talk to. the problem is getting her to talk lol.
