I had a close friend tell me this:

"you can only love someone as much as they want to be loved"

Ah, what??? Hell, that was our apartment moto at college.

Give it some time to play out. If it works, it works. If it doesn't, hit Waldomart for the super bag-o-socks and make sure the internet bill is paid up.

I am starting to see a trend with the people I work with and my own family. It seems like almost no one is happy in their relationships. They all want out of their marriages or are dead set on being single. Here is another thing these people believe in love they just didn't fall in love with the person they married. Now I used to think why get into a relationship unless you plan to marry the person and now I am starting to wonder what is the point at all. I have been in one relationship for 4 years and another one for 2 months both hurt just as bad when I got dumped for someone else. Rejection is the most horrible thing to deal with. Oh and I have only been with 2 girls in my whole life so I can completly understand how getting a lot of booty doesn't mean much.

although i do support this method

after having a kid with a girl i was poking in fun and she took it serious, then took my beer and left the kid. i have decided i'm not interested in anything except the long haul like the OP.

however i will still poke in fun if i get the chance! LOL

my HONEST opinon, the men out there who can go without and are purely interested in a relationship only are the real men. the rest of ya'll (me included for the most part lol) are just teenagers still.

Ah, bluejay we're just busting Styx's *****. You know the one's in the jar next to her bed.

All kidding aside, being in a relationship where both of you are happy is much better than being single and whoring around (sorta).

Styx - how's today going for ya buddy?
