i operate an overhead crane for 18 minutes.

then i go into my office for about an hour and then i'll operate for another 18 minutes.

so after 18 minutes, i have about an hour between runs before i have to do another one. they don't pay me to "screw around".

i get paid 71 K per year doing this same routine.

nice try though.

So what do they pay you to do for the hour you are in your office?

in between runs, is when i break, got to the bathroom, eat lunch etc.

i also have to log info into the computer system after each run which takes about 1 or 2 minutes.

air conditioned office and crane cab.

12 hour shifts, 4 days per week.

i can't complain. it's not a bad job at all.

Well, it seems the fundamentals of our economy are not strong.
Business profits are up.
Unemployment is up.
Oil prices are up.
Food prices are up.

Wages are down for average workers.
Worker benefits are down.
Dollar is down.

Nearly 5 years in a row.

Lower taxes do not alone equal more jobs as evidenced by our current unemployment rates.
Taxes for corporations have gone down several years in a row as unemployment numbers are the highest in 5 years.

I just read through this whole thread trying to find Nu Guy's answer to the questions he was asked on page 1, just to realize he dodged it. I just wanted to point that out so that he can answer it, b/c I was looking forward to reading it.

Remember the last time we had low taxes and high unemployment?

i was going to, but i'm not even going to start listing this buffoon's screw ups.

i understand that some of you guys are hard-core republicans to the point that if the GOP nominated donald duck, you would do everything possible to elect him (look at the sarah palin pick).

if after the past 7 plus years you don't see where this guy screwed up, then shame on you.

it's sad that there's people like you who defends this fool.

do you think that they're calling this fool one of the worst presidents in US history for nothing? *smh*

Fixed it for you.

Rolling Stone is your source for credible Presidential news... WOW 'nuff said.

Like I said, "I bet you will be like most other people that spout off these types of open-end complaints, lots of Ummms and babel but no real substance."

nope. don't need a source. i've seen it in real life for 7.6 years now.

rolling stone just displayed a picture that seemed so appropriate for the topic.

Hey, I never said I was a republican or democrat. I was just simply seeing if you were one of those people on the band wagon, that spout off anti-Bush stuff, and actually have no real knowledge off what they are saying. OR someone that has some good points, examples, and proof of what he "supposedly" has done to America. But you have answered my question the same way you answered the question the last 2 times, by simply dodging it.
Case closed, now back to the McCain vs. umm, ummm, ummmm, obama war
