8 am meat update I think these will be ready about 11 or so, maybe I can wrap them up put them in the oven and catch a nap before everybody gets here

10 am meat update the meat is just coming out of its plateau temp wise this phenomenon never ceases to amaze me the meat will sit at a internal temp for hours without moving and then all of the sudden it starts climbing again well its on the way up 

and I dont like to toot my own horn but if meat was sexy this would be Anna Kournikova

well its all cooked and sitting in the oven to keep it warm wraped in tin foil and wrapped in towels put the bean pan on the grill to warm those up and then its dinner time. I hope all of you enjoyed my pictorial essay on old school meat smoking any questions may not be addressed till later tonight or tomorrow because as soon as I eat and take a shower I plan on crawling into bed and passing out for at least ten hours
well here is the day after I was in bed by 7pm and I got up at 6am without waking up once in between the meat was a big hit but it was almost a little over smoked maybe next time I'll cut the smoke off a little earlier but other than that it was great had about ten people over to the house and everybody loved it beans were good, the beef was moist and tender, the pork was just falling apart, a little tony romas carolina honeys bbq sauce on the side and fresh baked dinner rolls good eating all the way around
