McCain destroys Obama on housing

So McCain didn't know how many houses he had and Obama mocks him in an ad.

McCain fires back hard and destroys Obama:

Yeah, I've seen them both. The average American idiot knows that both candidates are rich. What an incredible waste of time and money. On both of them. I really don't give a crap. Neither one of them have ever sent me a check. - Og

McCain is an evil, hate mongering republican and Obama is a victim of some one elses wrong doing. Don't you forget that. Well actually you can't forget that because the media is shoving that premis down our throats daily.

Maybe I'm different than many Americans but I don't have any problem with people being rich and owning things. I do have a problem when people are doing shady deals with criminals. Especially when a person who is running for president that is trying to discredit his opponant is the one having done shady deals.

Obama is a victim. That is why he should be our president.

I don't deny that Obama had more "humble" beginnings, but this crap takes the cake. I guess we can't expect nothing less this late in the game from either camp. It can only get worse. - Og

Do we even know how 'humble' Obama's beginnings were?

He managed to go to elite private schools as a child in Hawaii. He got a law degree from Harvard. I'm thinking maybe he was not quite as disadvantaged as he wants you to believe...

Good points. I was referring to not having his parents around and being raised by his grandparents. I guess it can vary. - Og

Hawaii and Harvard, huh? Good grief! I was born in West Texas and went to a small college in Abilene, Texas. Now I feel very disadvantaged!

The way that I look at this is, yes, they are both rich. They both became rich in different ways though. Plenty of kids don't have their parents around, Obama is not disadvantaged at all, the guy went to Harvard.

But with more of McCain's net worth in real estate, I feel he has more to loose with a failing economy. I don't think owning more homes is a disadvantage with this one.

Perhaps that's why he didn't realize that he doesn't "own" any of thoes houses.

I could also be that he isn't privy to all the information on buisness dealings that his wifes family buisness does. Is he supposed to know all that stuff? But that can't be the case. McCain is old and Obama must be our president because he's a victim.
