Abortion question above Obama's paygrade...
Pro-Death......thats a good description of "Pro-Choice". That's what it should be called....
No one wants to think about the un-born child and who is going to protect them......and no, not all who would grow up would be in a bad enviroment, like others pointed out Adoption is the best alternative for women thinking about abortion, but it's easier to just go to a clinic and have someone kill the baby!!!

Obamas answer was a calculated answer. he was trying to think about the best way to reply. by the way, he is far left of even abortion groups on some of these issues.
Mccains was thoughtful. He didnt pause and think about it. he didnt try to dodge, he just said what he believes.

Since you are level headed, welcome.
haha thanks man. yeah i figure I will have some 'splainin to do about that from time to time!
You know that's what I like about Bush too. At least he seems sincere in his answers and reasons for doing things even if I don't agree with all of them.
Name me one high ranking democrat that you can say that about. They always seem calculated and fake.
totally agree
I don't know which answer was better.
A man with a quick response to pass judgement on women in a situation he would never find himself.
Or reflection and realization that it is 'beyond his paygrade', beyond because he is a man, not a woman, beyond because he is only being considered as a POTUS not God.
About 22% of the population believe all abortions should be banned. All abortions meaning, 'point of conception' as stated by McCain. You would never know that from reading this thread.

Give me a break... at least McCain has the ***** to stand by what he believes. I am not all that wrapped up in politics, but at least have the nuts to give and stand by your opinion.... but who knows I'm just an E-4 so all this crap is 'beyond my paygrade'.

this is just another prime example that obama mama has no positions, or is so radically left wing it would even scare the **** out of kerry
BTW would liberals be ok with the death penalty if we just started calling it 92nd trimester abortion
Look, I know McCain answered every question quick and Obama didn't but, I'm not accusing McCain of cheating.
I would however, like to offer up as evidence a prior event that raised some concerns.
Both candidates were given a written exam with ten questions concerning the actions they would take as President. They were sent to a room where neither could not receive outside help.
These questions actually had a 'Right' and 'Wrong' answer.
Both candidates got nine right and Obama was declared the winner.
McCain complained that it was a tie and demanded to know why he lost.
The judges told him that he and Obama missed the same question and they based their decision on the answer given for the missed question.
Obamas' answer was "I don't know."
McCains' answer was "Neither do I."

We can't make abortion illegal. Its not ok that it has to happen, but it cannot be illegal, or you would have whisky bottle back ally abortions, and those are not ok either. Adoption would work a hell of a lot better if it wasn't so easy to adopt an African baby over an American. The waiting lists for American babies is years long, with a multitude of requirment.
