Abortion question above Obama's paygrade...

He and McCain were asked at what point do babies deserve human rights. McCain said at the point of conception. Obama said it was above his paygrade, and could not answer the question, or rather answered it without answering. I heard the question asked and answered on radio. So what do you guys think?

think of his answer or our stance on abortion? If that's the answer he gave, and it wasn't taken out of context, it's a pretty **** answer imo.

if you look at the title quickly it looks like it says "Obama's gayparade"

I thinks a terrible answer. You are either for or against abortion. There is no middle ground.
McCain appears to have answered with his belief and people can either choose tovote or not vote for him on that matter.
Obama obviously believes something but will not come out and say what his belief is because it will lose him votes somewhere.

no crap he believes something. He voted to kill aborted babies that come out alive. It is quite obvious what obama blieves without saying it. Every answer obama gave that night was in reference to him. At least mccain had conviction in his answers. I am still voting for Ronald Reagan though.

McCain's answer was short, sincere, and from the heart IMO.

Who says everyone who has abortions would live in a horrible household? That was a ridiculous argument for pro-abortionists.

BigMan Aug 19, 2008 01:07 AM

you know I used to think I was all for abortion. But since I have had this recent experience with my girl friend getting pregnant my stance has changed. I couldnt even think of aborting my unborn kid. I still believe sometimes in the right situation an abortion is necessary (like if a women gets pregnant during a rape). No matter what Obamas stance is on abortion I will always think he is an idiot for other reasons.

Ever heard of adoption? It actually works. :fyi:

I'm pro-choice to a point, but really I think the president should have nothing to do with it, and it should be left to the states to decide...

efuehrin Aug 19, 2008 09:54 AM

Pro-death......That's a good way to put it.
