Starting off the school year
Starting off the school year
...with one less than last year. One of our class member jumped off of a local bridge into the river. He came back up 2 hours later. They still dont know if it was blunt force or drowning.
Heard about it at work, and found out who it was when I got home. It sucks when you think of who it was and match a name to a face. All over MySpace. Our school page is mourning for the loss of the guy. So much for being the best year ever...

That's rough man, I've been through that too. A few years ago in high school, a kid I had grown up with, played ball with, gone to church with, etc commited suicide. Shot himself in the head with a pistol...his older sister was in the driveway and heard it happen. He always had some problems growing up, but I never saw that coming on. He was a pretty good guy once you washed all the bs away. Those are hard things because you know you could have prevented it had you known...
Sorry to hear about that. Prayers to his family and friends.

That just about sums it up. Thanks for the link, BlueFlareside, but it appears the SHS kids know more about it than the cops/newspaper folks do.
Yeah. Its scary cause the site where it happened is about 2 miles from my house. My parents passed it yesterday and saw boats all in the water and cops in the bridge, etc. They were wondering what happened when I just told them. I remember seeing him around campus. It's going to be a depressing senior year. I'm the photo editor for this years yearbook and I just had an idea to put a memorial page in the front of the book for him. First day is monday and I'm going to run my idea by the yearbook advisor and see if this is possible.
