Yes, but I could list problem after problem with the Tundra. The Ford is, hands down, the most reliable half ton on the market.

But I know the point you were trying to make, and, yes all have issues

I would rather deal with a plug problem then a truck going down the road stuck at WOT

I was just joking not really making a point but...
Yep there are just too many parts, suppliers etc not to have some common problems. I love my truck but I'm unfortunate enough to get one with a lot of problems. But I think and hope that all of the kinks got worked out since I'm now out of warranty. I'll probably buy another Ford when I'm finished with this one in about 7 years or so

Btw. I had a friend that was looking at buy a tundra and I showed him pictures of the tailgate problems and that was enough to look at something else. Makes me feel good that I took a sale away from them He said if they cannot make a damn tailgate what else did they mess up

WOT no problem just find a Tundra to rear end the flimsy tailgate should slow you down with out causing any damage

Gotcha, well you have been here since 05 so you probably know how I feel about the Tundra. I'm just a bit outspoken about it

When I think of Toyota... I think of...

To keep moving forward... in a small front wheel drive rat car.

When I think of Ford... I think of...

Built Ford Tough... in a rear wheel drive F-Series truck.

What you think even though the F150 is light duty... means that it is built to withstand just consumer use?! No... it's built to withstand military and government standards. Don't let the "light duty" scare you away... there's nothing light duty about a F150...
