Amen to Jack, plus Charlie Robison and Bruce Robison. Oh and Joe Ely. Man the list just goes on and on.

He did "smoke rings in the dark" didn't he? I liked that and think I've heard more recent stuff by him that I liked. Very distinctive voice.

Panic is great so is Keller Williams. He plays all the instruments. Like his shows he plays one instrument at a time records it and loops it right there on stage and does that to all the instruments then sings and plays guitar to the drum beat, bass line, and keyboard riffs that he just layed down lol he is really good to

I like alot of the remakes of the old songs, most of the ones that Alan Jackson and Sawyer Brown do I really like but I am so far and away from listening to what the radio stations want to shove down your throat I have a xm with a microsd card slot and 8 gb sd card in it so I load it up with mp3s of stuff I like and then for new stuff I trawl my xm

BTW

one of the best remake versions of "Ghost riders in the sky" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFjqlx8eSfQ

best version

No one hear knows Todd Snyder? He writes a bunch of songs for other people, and he wrote and was singing BEER RUN before Garth Brooks stole it from him. Also anyone that knows Texas country knows the stories are great at the concerts, and Todd has some Awesome stories.

I liked Dwight and Owens on "Streets of Bakersfield" with Flaco on Accordian also his "1,000 miles from Nowhere." Of course he has a lot of great material.
