America is no longer the 1st World Country!

According to www.MichaelSavage.com . America is no longer the worlds premier country & is regulated to 2nd World Status next to Dubai, where the average 24 Year old youth earns an average of .....brace yourself, $180,000.00! As our lovely Politicians continue to sell us nation out, & keep on taking in 30 million Illegal Aliens we are well on our way to keep our status, & Economy in a free fall!.........

I don't know if this is the same guy that wrote "While you (we) were sleeping" or not, but there was a guy on the Today show a few moths ago, pointing out how many countries have matched or exceeded the US in certain areas while we were sleeping.

He went on to name areas such as the largest malls, where the Mall of America, once the largest or 2nd largest in the world) was not even in the top 10 in the world anymore. He spoke about how Japan, China, India, Dubai, and other countries have more robust and cutting edge technologies supporting their infrastructure than we do, etcetera, etcetera...

Well- that's all fine and good. And, I have no doubt everything he said is probably true, But, there's no other country I'd rather live in, than the Good ol' US of A. Visit other countries? Sure. Rather live there permanently? No. But, if I had to live somewhere other than the US, it'd be Germany. I loved the weather, and the scenery. But, it's still not home. And, pound for pound- I still think the US is the overall best country to live in...

But yes, Dubai is very impressive- in a Disney sort of way.

America has always been a melting pot. That's our claim to fame.
I see no reason to change that now, as long as the folks are "legal" and have contributed to minimum amounts to- before they get to partake in our services (Welfare, Social Security, etc..)

I've been to Dubai several times. Interesting place for sure, but it's like old Chicago or Queens in some places and a Palace in others. Thing is the place is still covered in sand it's hot as hell and most people still wear traditional Muslim cloths while others are coming into western style. So when I'm there I try to be extra careful cause the place just feels off. Those Emiraties like to flaunt their money with marble floors, walls, pillars, I think they even gold plate the marble! Thing is, I would be more impressed if they quit spending the money on fancy buildings and started making a better community for the common people there.

I listen to Michael Savage on the radio... Although a little too animated sometimes, he is very conservative (he makes Rush Limbaugh look like Obama), and touts the belief that we need to adhere to our values of "borders, language, and culture." His method of delivering his message is often using reverse psychology. He says things that are over exaggerated for the purpose of delivering a "wake up" call, and encouraging change to stop the decline.

Well I've just come from a year of living in Dubai so I can speak from some experience.
The average salary is nowhere near 180k but there are very few taxes.
If you just want somewhere to visit for 10 days and do the vacation thing, it's a great place but you should try living there amongst the "normal" people and see how you get on.
Big shopping malls and tall buildings do not make a first world country.
When the company offered me a transfer back to Houston, I jumped at it.

I have been to many countries and I wouldnt trade the USA for anywhere. Our freedoms and our opportunities are greater than anywhere else on earth. We truly are blessed to be born in this country.

They're already beginning to worry about what they're going to do when the oil runs out. They don't have much else going for them other than that.

Poor comparison since I've never made a statement like you did. Learn how to debate.
