No, I know there are some kids that for some reason, would wanna learn that in public school instead of their church that they probably attend. But I know there are more kids that dont wanna hear the Christian religion than there are kids that do. Its a fact. There are more people that aren't Christian than there are Christians.

YOUR LOGIC MAKES NO SENSE...
Responding to 10 word sentence? Thats the best you have? C'mon, engage in the dialog just a little bit more. Logically explain your position just a little more. Be more credible.

You're one to talk about credibility. You get your stuff from the bible.

Really? You know?

Below is an excerpt from CBS news:

"Is America getting more secular? Not according to a new survey on Americans' religious beliefs, "American Piety in the 21st Century," published this month by Baylor University. According to the Baylor survey, 82 percent of Americans are Christians, 90 percent believe in God, 70 percent pray regularly, and half attend church at least once a month.

If Baylor is correct, Americans are demographically as religious, and as Christian, as they ever have been. But their denominational affiliations have become somewhat less structured. Less likely now to be Methodist or Lutheran, they are drifting towards more informal forms of evangelical Christianity."

and from the USA Today...

The Constitution establishes a Christian nation
• Agree: 55%
• Disagree: 41%
• Other: 4%

AMERICANS' VIEWS ON THE FIRST AMENDMENT

Beliefs reflected in an Aug. 16-26 survey:

• Teachers and public school officials should be allowed to lead prayers in schools: 58%

Want more?

Group Number Percent of

Total U.S. population 284,800,000 100.0 %
English-at-home speakers 245,497,600 86.2 %
Christian 217,872,000 76.5 %

Hello, another CBS news poll...

world at large: Fifty-two percent of the world's population is non-Christian, compared to 4 percent in the United States; and one-third is Christian, compared to 83 percent in the United States. (These are rough comparisons, because the world figures, reported by the Encyclopedia Britannica, are for the full population, while the U.S. figures are among adults only.)

Religion in the U.S. vs. the World:
United States World
Christian 83% 33%
No religion 13% 15%
All non-Christian religions 4% 52%

This poll used an open-ended question to gauge religious affiliation: "What if anything is your religion?" Most of the 50 affiliations cited are Christian denominations, ranging from the Assembly of God to the United Church of Christ. Added up they show that 53 percent of Americans are Protestants, 22 percent Catholics and 8 percent other Christians, such as Mormons or Jehovah's Witnesses.

Kids today dont get 2 ****s about god anyways. Its a new century. This isnt like life back in the 50's. More and more kids are finally questioning why they are Christians. They are Christians only because they were born into it and they want out. I got out of the Christian hivemind and decided to think on my own and I figured out that when your a Christian, you're more likely to be wrong if anything.

Uh yeah, I do. And according to secular sources, anywhere from 70-85% of the United States population consider themselves to be Christian.

You are the minority...

You have shown yourself to only assume. I give you facts. Yet you deny them to the bitter end. I am not trying to convert you. Its gotta be a little deflating to your ego. I do not want to hurt your ego. I only want to educated you, and show you that the world you live in...is not as you see it. Show me my facts are wrong. Your beliefs are what you want to cling too. Again, to the bitter end. LOOK at the facts, and consider them.

There are people who make accusations and assertions that are empirically false. You are one of them...

Well, according to the book Beyond Belief, Christianity has not killed as many as Atheist. Atheism has caused more deaths in the last century than any other system of belief put together on all of the past 19 centuries. During the Dark Ages the Catholic Church (is estimated) to have killed 12 million people, that is during a span of 1260 years. Hitler killed the same amount in just a few years (most only count the 6 million Jews he killed, but he also killed another 6 million non-Jews). Then you also have Mao Tse Tung, Staling, Mussolini, Lenin and even Fidel Castro, among many others. Under these atheist leaders the number of innocent murdered is still unknown.

My point is not that Christians or religious people aren't vulnerable to committing terrible crimes. Certainly they are. But it is not religion that produces these things; it is the denial of Biblical religion that generally leads to these kinds of things. The statistics that are the result of irreligious genocide stagger the imagination.

My source is The Guinness Book of World Records . Look up the category "Judicial" and under the subject of "Crimes: Mass Killings," the greatest massacre ever imputed by the government of one sovereign against the government of another is 26.3 million Chinese during the regime of Mao Tse Tung between the years of 1949 and May 1965. The Walker Report published by the U.S. Senate Committee of the Judiciary in July 1971 placed the parameters of the total death toll in China since 1949 between 32 and 61.7 million people. An estimate of 63.7 million was published by Figaro magazine on November 5, 1978.

In the U.S.S.R. the Nobel Prize winner, Alexander Solzhenitsyn estimates the loss of life from state repression and terrorism from October 1917 to December 1959 under Lenin and Stalin and Khrushchev at 66.7 million.

Those people didn't kill because they were Athiest. Thats the difference here. They didnt kill for a Athiest cause. The Christians sure did, which is stupid. Another reason why religion causes problems.

Now we get to the part that will really blow your mind... Religion does cause problems, because it detracts from Christ.

Those that follow Him, do not commit the atrocities that you speak of. Those that accept Him, spend their time late at night when they should sleep, witnessing to those that are in need of HIM.

Remember, true Christianity is not a religion.

You're right, its a pack of wild hound dogs ravaging foreign lands in the name of Christ, killing because the people don't believe.
