paging JBMX....

nissan is pretty much in the crapper right now. Ford is your best bet. Never drove a Titan, but I've been in the smaller ones and plenty of their cars and its just not my preference.

Your on a Ford forum. The F-150 of course is the better truck. Go to a datsun site and they will tell you the titan is better. Buy what you want. When you drive by in your datsun, I will laugh at you because the Ford ranger outsells the titan. If it was such a great truck, don't you think they would sell more?

I read an article on the titan once and it said "at first glance of the titans interior, it feels like it just got last place at a tupperware party"

I enjoy reading your posts everyday only to find yourself proving more and more to everyone else that you have no idea what you are talking about.

Go for the F-150. The titan is a lost cause for nissan. It will be gone in a year or two and they will join chrysler for their pickups. With gas prices right now just think about what you really need. Do you need a fullsize pickup? or would a mid-size be enough for you. Neither the titan or the f150 get good mileage. It's all up to you. There will be both intelligent replies in this thread, ridiculously biased replies, and plain stupid replies. I love both. If i had the choice it would be tough for me. Just because of the fact that nissan is basically done, maybe you should go with an f150. while at the same time, because they are selling so little, maybe you could find an extreme deal on a titan, like i did on a frontier.

Good luck!

Nissan sold 4 new Titans last month. Ford, even though it's a lousy market for trucks, sold 10's-of-thousands of new F-150's. That alone should speak volumes.....

As far as side by side comparisons go, I'll tell you, just what I told a Co-Worker who parks his Datsun right next to my F-150 SuperCrew every day!
1. Look at the size of my rear axle, compared to your wimpy Datsun!
2. Look at the size of my Rear Leaf springs compared to your wimpy Datsun!
3. Look at the size of your peanut oil filter, compared to my F-150's!
4. Look at the overall built quality of your Datsun compared to my F-150!
5. Look, in a year or two, you will be drivin a truck that Datsun does not
even make anymore!.......................

I work at a nissan dealer on the weekend to make some extra xash. I drive a 01 F150 King Ranch. Nissan is doing ANYTHING to sell a Titan. Personally I would not own one, but when I sell one I make a good chunck of change. Sold one yesterday for $13500 out the door. 2008 1/2 extended cab automatic, no power windows, locks etc.

Rumor is after 2009 the Titan will not be around anymore.

So if you want a "drive around town truck" you can get a great deal on the titan.

If you want to have a working truck, go with the f150.

A little better than the Titan, but not by much. Altima and Sentra sales are thru the roof. and the new Maxima is gonna be a hot car too.

Yep yep. My salesman was telling me when they take 1 frontier from nissan, they are able to take 10 altimas, which really are selling like crazy, but they are worthy of the high sales #s.

A friend of mine has a Titan. I have driven it and worked it a good bit so I will be as objective as possible. The Titan is quick in a straight line, that's the only place it beats the F-150. The interior is sub-par, the brakes suck (he's on his second set of rotors in 25k), the rear axle is notorious for failing, the seats are terrible, the payload for the F-150 is much higher and loaded it shows, the turning radius on the F-150 is much better. There really is no comparison.
