So then at the end of the day, taking into account the " what coulda happened " aspect, sure makes all the points you guys like to harp on other brands ( notably the Tundra ) as pretty minor?

I can respect your view on this because it could have been tragic.

Yeah, we are not going to go there on this. The most your getting out of me is Ford dropped the ball big time and they deserve all the negative press and lawsuits they get from this issue. Toyota will be a target of mine till the day I die so don't count on that changing

I went to 2 local ford dealerships and they both tuurned me down. Said they didnt have the part in stock and they would call when they did. That was 3-4 months ago. Im just waiting for my truck to catch fire, and Ill be suiing.

btw i have been cleared of recall, but i have it in the back of my mind that everytime i walk away from my truck it could be the last time
