Yup, I got the Glock 19 that very next day. Waited 7 days and picked it up. I love it, It takes a little while to get used to the trigger though. I've put about100 rounds threw it so far at the range. The dealer said the "brake in period" for the trigger is 500 rounds. He said after 500 or so rounds the trigger will get alot easier to pull. But other then that. No complaints. The ammo is pretty cheap, the cheapest ammo i could buy was at local police supply company, The ammo is called "independance" an its only 10 dollars for either 25 or 50 rounds. I forget. Thanks CRF

No problem I am glad that you like it! Go to Walmart and pick up CCI blazer brass for 9 bucks/50 rds. It is the cheapest stuff around, yet I have not had 1 FTF with it.

Outta curiosity, since you've got an XD 40 why didnt you stay with the XD? Not a fan?

(XD45 lover here)
I still have my XD in .40, I carry it at work concealed (i have my ccw), I wanted something for the bottom floor of my house and also to use at the gun range. 9mm shells are pretty cheap and i can put a couple hundred down range an it not cost me a few hundred bucks. After work, i keep the XD on my nighstand, an now i keep the glock downstairs hidden. So i have one downstairs AND upstairs, in case of an intruder.

I LOVE my XD, but .40 cal shells get expensive. An i go to the gun range at least once a week.
