Good line Stealth.

Honestly this is unbelievable. What happened to right to protest? Taking away our right before they even get elected, don't waste much time do they?

No kidding Scott ... This is ridiculous.

Although it wouldn't be anything new in the world of politics, just a bunch of people who can't contain the crap that comes out of themselves.

Maybe they just want to create an equilibrium between the inside and outside of the building so there isn't any kind of crap catastrophe!

that article has to be a joke right?

I mean the "brown note"?

I thought that was all BS.

by they way - 99% of the time it's only after the protesters start going beyond their constitutional rights that the police step in.

those protesters go way overboard most of the time.

after a while the safety and well being of the general public takes prescience over the protesters.

They can protest all they want - within limits. It's when the limits are exceeded when things like this will be used. The right to protest does not also give you the right to be a nuisance. I think I'd rather be shot with a crap cannon than rubber bullets or a fire hose.

So your saying more than 50% of the time republicans require police intervention when protesting the Democratic convention? Thats a pretty bold statement, got any numbers to back that up?

I too agree the saftey of the general public is the primary concern, I see no reason to assume that saftey at this event will even be a problem.
