Arrow Does anyone else think this is wrong?

My little brother is 20yrs old, We are all having a bbq today with me, my little brother, and our parents and girlfriends. His girlfriend showed up, an she was smokin hot. He introduced her to all of us (first time meeting) an he told me she was 27!! He said "dont tell mom an dad, they might freak" yeah...no *****!!! He still lives with them, so even though he is an adult they can still kick his *** out of the house if he's doing something they wouldent approve of (like doing drugs, drinking, ect..) I KNOW they wouldent approve of him dating a chick 7 years older then him. But thats his buisness not mine, I'm not going to say anything to our parents, they can find out themselves (if they ever do) she told my parents she's 21 an i dident believe that so i asked to see her drivers license to prove it, an she showed me. I laughed to myself a little an she asked not to tell me an chad's parents, So i wont. Do you think this is morally wrong? What do you think of this situation? I by no means am going to run my mouth an coc*-block him. But i think its a little morally wrong IMO.

Let him do it. It's his life to run. When I was 16 I was seeing a girl that was 24. I've also dated girls that were several years younger than me.

They way I see it, just shut up and little bro have a good time for now.

My wife is 7 years older than I am. Met her when I was 22. Age never has been an issue for me. When I was in my early 20's I was tired of dating girls living with their parents, not wanting to finish college, not able to support themselves, etc so I started dating girls older than myself. The problem your brother and his girl have now is they've lied to your parents!! That is the only thing wrong I see so far. If you're truthful upfront it will save you a lot of headaches later. If they stay together her lying will be a bigger deal than her age.

Why is it morally wrong that your brother is dating someone 7 years his senior? Short of doing anything illegal as you mentioned, his girlfriend's age really isn't your or your parents concern. And if they would kick him out for something like that, then that says a LOT about your parents. I mean, if the girl is nice, good to your brother, and genuinely a good person, then why would age even matter?

Just my $0.02.

Ask if she's got any friends her age and have some fun?

Personally my siblings business is their own unless they're getting into things that could potentially be dangerous, i.e. heavy drug use.

Like i said before, I'm not preventing him from dating this chick. Its his life, not mine. He's an adult an he can make the choices he wants. Our parents wouldent like it because IMO they still see him as a child, an she's a grown woman an has a daughter.

I personally just think she's a little too old and mature for him, he's still the drinking/partying/no job/college guy. An she already has a kid an has grown up...

Don't hate, appreciate!
Sounds to me like your bro is in a win/win situation. With the exception of the lie he told your parents.
Why would your parents be upset about the age of your brothers chik?

Because they still see him as a child because he still lives with them an he doesnt have a job, an he lies almost daily to them about his grades and drinking lol.

I have never once ratted on him, We are pretty close an unless he was an alcoholic or was doing drugs i wont say a word.

I dont imagine he'll marry this chick anyway, so i dont think he has to worry about the lie he told our parents. Oh well, screw it.
Hope he gives her ATM
