Nice man, I've been considering buying an old Festiva or something (with a 3cylinder) an keeping it bone stock to save some gas money. I spend about 100-140 a week on gas (I have dual tanks) an its a bitch to fill up. All jokes aside, you made a good choice. Any mods planned?

I'm really happy with it. Low interest and a low payment, plus cheap gas... Win/win/win!

I think I may remove the fenders and see how I like it. That's pretty much it. I was going to put some HIDs in it but it doesn't have reflectors in the lens, just the "diamond" type backing. Oh well. Definitely getting a "fender eliminator" for the plate. It looks bad right now.

That's about it.

Oh, good. Now you can cruise around with the crazy Burleson moped lady.

You should see her, when she's stopped in traffic she gives hand signals like she's directing traffic.

Festivas had a 1.3 liter Mazda 4 banger - you are thinking of the Geo Metro with a 3 cylinder. I bought a new Festiva back in 1988 to do a 100 mile round trip commute - I got 170k miles out of it with essentially no maintenance. It got gas mileage in the high 30's consistently.
