Took my folks out today to a local hotel that was having a "Mothers Day Brunch" for about 14 bucks. It was being caterred by a company called Branns that are steak resturant chain up here. I got a plate of meat (no veg) which was ok but once outside with my wife she said it was the worst meal that she had ever had
She said that most of hers was cold & the only "good part" was the salad!! My folks seemed to like it but I think they were just being polite! Kinda sucks when u just want to take yr folks out for a nice meal & ya get screwed over! We will not be going back again!

Well I for one love Mothers Day! At work today (Wendy's) we had zilch for customers. Usually around 1:00 when church/lunch rush hits, we have all 13 employees and 4 registers running with 2 lines going out the doors and cars wrapped around the building. Let's just say when 1:00 rolled around, I was leaning on the counter about to fall asleep I was so bored!
