End war in Iraq= High gas prices????
Ok, so im watching the O'reiley factor, and they are saying that if we end the war in iraq, Iran will step in and take control over Iraq. They are saying if that happens fuel prices will most definatly DOUBLE. Looks like its gonna be a lose lose stiuation. If we stay in Iraq we pay in lives, if we leave we pay at the pump. Prepare for extremly high fuel prices in the not so distant future.

We definatly shouldnt use our own reserves. Not that im a enviromentalist, ha I think i spelled that right, anyway maybe thats what they want. Maybe they want us to use up our own oil reserves, an when we are out they will stop shipping us oil, and wage war on us right here at home. With our reserves are all used up we will be defensless with no fuel to power our war machines. Just a thought.

we could supply our own oil while we solve our alternative fuel need problems.

If you were in the oil business, what would make more sense for your business? To increase production, due to greater demand, and make a modest increase in profits, or increase prices 'til they can't be paid, make a killing, then increase production and sell at a new price, somewhere in between the old price and the high price? Oil production won't go up until raising prices is no longer a viable alternative. We aren't setting in line and rationing fuel yet.
