Let's start over......
Howdy. Went to the golf range with my son, he did better this time. My new driver and 3 wood work great. I hit the driver a ton, very good purchase for both for $60 bucks. Ebay rules.

The way the club face sits (driver) I can lessen the playing of my slice, which I like. The stiff breeze was blowing across my slice, aiding it, and was still going straight. I was happy. And the 3 wood hits nice and low, just like I like it. Nice. Happy. Now I need to figure out how to regrip the irons.
Well, it may be but it'll be farther than normal.

One way is to take them to Golfsmith or some such place and have it done. i think they do them down there at the range on 35. They used to. Or, you can buy the grips you want, the double sticky tape and the activating solvent. I tried it and it's a pain getting the grip started on the shaft, other than that, pretty simple.
Yes, Wynn is a very soft grip and thicker than others. The used to just come in that one style and they were a light brown. They have other colors and thicknesses now. I think they call it Chamois.
