I had mine yesterday. Went to the range and taught my 2 adult daughters, son in law, grandson, and 2 grand daughters how to a shoot pistol. It was fun. Plus my son and his wife came to shoot too. Only used about 450 rounds, and killed a lot of paper!
Waiting for the driver to show up with the Taurus -- he was supposed to be here at 5:00 but there's no hide-nor-hair of him yet. After we get it unloaded and in the garage, I need to put my butt in the Cavalier and drive up to Dallas -- looks as if it's going to be a late night for this boy.....
Had breakfast with a buddy that manages a tire testing facility. He pulled up in a 09 tacoma beat to hell. Looked at the odometer and he said it's turned over once already. Original engine, they have replaced the rear end 3 times and transmission twice. 1.4 million miles is pretty impressive, asked about the f150s they have and he said the they have 5 2013 and 2014s are around 500k. 1 engine replacement on the 5.0 for major oil consumption around 275k. 1 EB Engine around 250k.
Hellwig Sway-bar and black lug nuts arrived today. Hopefully I can get them on this weekend. I made the winding drive up to Whistler yesterday and will again to compare.
I'm done with city living. It ain't for me. No where to park the vehicles, I've gotten 3 not so nice letters from the postman for blocking the mailbox with the 86. Had a soccer ball bounce off the hood of the EB this evening. 3 shots fired called for our block In the last 6 months.Loud exhaust and damn sound systems rattling the windows. Tune to find a nice country spot aND be done with it
