Hope you get to feeling better.

Church groups can really be one if the greatest disappointments in life. I found that out when I went to a church related college and observed the bible department. They are just people but you just expect better from them. You expect them to practice what they expound but it's not always the case.

I can't think of a single place where I have been more disappointed in mankind than in my dealings with organized religion. I think it's probably because it's the one place you don't expect it, but the reality is that whenever there are fallible humans involved, the results can be less than stellar. Take what you can from organized religion, but don't expect perfection, as they all have their warts!

Battled one myself the last few days and I'm still not quite 100% -- kind of a bummer because this has been the first week in months where the weather has been so cool and crisp you wanted to be outside doing things.....

The nice cool weather we're having down here in Houston this weekend is calling out to me -- since the Viking's aren't playing until 3:30 I think I'm going to hop in the truck and go get me some Texas BBQ! Great day to sit outside on a picnic table, enjoy some good grub, and watch the world go by for an hour or so.....

A guy at work asked me if it would be easier to just buy aftermarket lights. I had to really bite my tongue to keep from laughing at him.

But then again he also had a TB spacer on his 5.3 Silverado

Getting ready to make the drive to New Orleans to watch the Saints vs the Cowboys tonight. Son in law and myself are taking my oldest grandson and his buddy. Hope the Saints can finally get a win since they've never lost on Sunday night football.

Another close call with a distracted Ram Driver. I muted the volume on this one since the language used is probably prohibited on here . I turned around and chased him down to ask what the hell he was thinking. Damn phone is not more important than my families life.

Where the heck is everybody today.....

It's "Parent-Teacher Conferences" today, so the wife is at school but the boy is home with me. He's already told me that he wants to go to Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch -- when he starts requesting Hooters instead I'll know he's getting older.....

I'd mention the battery saver message to your dealer, Coy. Let me know if you make plans to swing by for diagnosis. How many miles do you have on the clock?
