When you're ready to put a new 5.0 coyote in it, you've got my number

That would be a fun combo. I have an old 289 engine I could rebuild and stick in it for a driver. Would have to swap out the 4.88 gears. The easiest thing would be to find a pair of 351C 4V heads.

Boardwalk in the swamp. They just opened the first phase.

Cypress swamp close to my house.

A little different place to take a daily walk...in a few months it may turn into a run when the snakes come out!

The tank on my '97 must be a tad bigger -- I usually get 400-450 miles out of a fill-up and it generally takes a little over 14.5 gallons for me to go from the low fuel light to full. The one thing I have learned about this car is that once you get to about 1/8 tank, you'd better start looking for gas stations because the needle drops like a rock from there on.....

Its a 14 gallon tank, low fuel light comes on around the 12 gallon mark. Same on the 04, after the 1/4 tank it drops like a rock.

It gets off full around the 35 mile mark, 3/4ths 80 to 90 miles, 1/2 tank around 180 to 190, 1/4 tank 290 to 300 and low fuel light around 350 mark and dead on empty by 380.
i dont push it cause i have never seen a GM gas gauge to be very accurate

if I could get by with a car, unfortuantly even trucks aren't fond of the roads and suspensions get tore up in my line of work
