Heck -- I'd be more worried about the gas on that thing than the oil! On my low-mileage vehicles I add a double-dose of Sta-Bil to each tank of fuel since I know it will probably be awhile before I burn it up......

You are correct. I have added Stabil but not in recent years. So far, no fuel system problem. I had the fuel filter changed about 3 years ago and had the coolant changed when it was 10 years old. Hard to believe we have had that car 15 years.

I am coming up on 10 years with the F-150 next year and will have to decide what fluid maintenance I want to do. With only 3000 miles on it right now it seems kind of silly to do too much, but I suppose there is a point at which age affects the fluids as much as mileage does.

I never thought of stabil.. moms fuel pump went out on her 99 cougar a few months ago, at 11k miles.. she would run it to 3/4ths a tank and fill it back up.. guy at the repair place said the fuel tank was horrible, so now she only puts about 5 gallons in then runs it to the low fuel light then puts another 5 gallons in.. atleast that way it has some what fresh fuel in it.

One of my son in laws built this houseboat and then sold it to a man who's finishing it off as part of the Wounded Warrior Project. Took these this morning in Point Aux Chene, La. we also went to Isle de Jean Charles which is at the end of the road in Terrebonne Parish South of Houma. Lucky the water was low because most of the time the only road in and out is under water! The people that live on the Island have been there for over 200 yrs and are a mix of Indian, Spanish and even Pirates!

https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...Iz7VLdYnmYyxlg27 degrees down here this morning but into the 60's this evening. Driving MawMaw into New Orleans for some business later. This also means a stop at Rocky and Carlo's in Chalmette for some great Italian food.

Sounds and looks incredible... what a monster. Love the high revving naturally aspirated motors.
Going to bolt a couple of Subaru motors together....

Good Grief! You shouldn't even OWN any flip flops! That puts you in John's corner.
