Been thinking since I'm going to eventually replace my front bumper, grille surround and Pad I may do the 09+ swap and do the HIDs. Just gather parts over time here and there. Think I might go with the flair side bed too.

Went to the body shop this morning to drop the explorer off, did most everything and i asked the guy any idea when it will be ready? He looked at me and said we will start on it around mid march!!

According to him to many people playing bumper cars during the ice storm a couple weeks ago. Called another place and was told the same thing.

It's something I just toy with. I like hunting for deals so when I see stuff sometimes I'll grab it. The bed wouldn't be for a long while. If good deals come up on 04-08 stuff that's the route I'll keep.

Who knows lol

If you had a 5.0, you could go another 65,000 miles before changing them. Of course, you get to buy 2 fewer.

Yeah this was the first time I've only had to buy 6 spark plugs.

He still has to buy more in the end. 8 plugs ftw

Unless the 6 are in a straight line that is

My oil burning 5.0 with 4700 miles including past weekend with 400 miles of heavy towing

Computer said 50% on oil with 4700 miles, went ahead and did oil change today. Second oil change and 8400 miles on the truck now

MPG 10.54 heading down to Georgetown (about 200 miles) Display said 10.8
MPG 11.22 heading back home (almost 200 miles) Display said 12.0

Towed very confident, never felt out of control, most of the time I kept 6th locked out because it would want to kick out of 6th as soon as it had a slight hill. Most hills on I35 it would pull in 5th just fine, with a mile or two lost on speed
