Took the truck out today for a little run, took off from the light about half throttle, tires screamed pretty good. Heard a racket over to my right and it was a little riced out honda literally wide open redlining it and i was running half throttle .

I love my pickemup truck

Last good rainfall we had was about a month and a half ago. We also had tornadoes close by.

Buried my brother yesterday. Simple graveside service, but very nice. The weather was perfect for it. Sunny 57. Today is cloudy, colder and expecting rain. Glad it was nice yesterday.

Have a bunch of his papers to go through. It's as if he is talking to me from the grave.

I imagine its hard to lose a sibling especially a younger one. I've got a younger brother that's 65 and no other brothers or sisters.

Yes, just never expected. He was my only sibling as well and was 66. Being older, just expected to go first.

Yep -- it's hard for me to even wrap my brain around what it is going to be like when my siblings start to pass on. I am the youngest (and only boy) of eight kids and think that even when some of my brother-in-laws start to pass on it will be hard, since several of them have been in my life since I was only a couple of years old.

Lately I have given some thought to the idea that I might need to consider moving back to Minnesota after I retire to at least be around to take care of my sisters when they get older -- something I'll have to keep an eye on over the next 10 years or so.....

Was he not married, putting you in charge of sorting out his affairs?
