Dropped off the Impala to get a Full Interior Detail including Shampoo and steam cleaning the seats, carpet and headliner.. I can't stand Cig smell in a vehicle. One thing i like about GM is most of their models have the cabin air filter (atleast the ones i have owned). I was getting a strong smoke smell out of the vents last night, changed out the cabin filter and now its gone.Of course it was the original one the car came with in 2011.

Changing the oil on the wife's '05 Escape today -- the thing doesn't burn a drop, but it sure is starting to drip it!

I had originally planned on replacing this car within the year, but had some expenses come up on the house that have taken priority over replacing a vehicle. Guess I'll have to live with the cardboard on the garage floor for another couple of years -- with 140k on the clock it doesn't make much sense to me to replace a bunch of gaskets on it unless I absolutely need to.

It still runs like a champ, but I'm beginning to refer to it as the "Exxon Valdez"......

179,000 miles is making mine look the same, though I don't think I qualify for the Valdez level of oil spills.

Now get me a piece of wood. If I dont, I'll walk out to the truck to find out that I put the Valdez to shame!

Only 67 degrees today...a lot better then the 80's we've been having. Had my truck detailed for my birthday compliments of my daughter...great job and it was filthy from our weekend camping trip to North Louisiana.

Starting to look at Lincoln MKT now they're quite a bit less than the explorer sports concentrating on 2013 models

Thanks...wife and I bought it together with my youngest daughter and her husband. Had it a month and used it 3 times already. Son in law and my oldest grandson love to deer hunt so we need a large trailer to fit everyone.

Hunting area where they keep the old trailer for a camp in addition to some tents.
