Yeah -- that's a lot of "togetherness" when you're used to being on the road and on your own! My wife and I did pretty well over the Thanksgiving break, but I'll have to admit that it was nice to see her and the boy head off for school again this morning......

Wow -- looks like it's nippy up in Dallas as well, but it's still around 70 and a tad muggy here in Houston this morning. It doesn't look as if we're going to get much of the cool front down here on the coast, so I'll guess I'll have to hope for a trip to Dallas or out West if I want any winter chill this week!

Helped a friend haul an old wooden fence and his old concrete pool deck off to the landfill yesterday. The load weighed in at 3300 pounds. Towed it up about a 45 percent grade to the top of trash mountain through pig slop and muck from two days worth of rain. It was fun The truck is FILTHY!

Dropped off the Impala to get a Full Interior Detail including Shampoo and steam cleaning the seats, carpet and headliner.. I can't stand Cig smell in a vehicle. One thing i loved about GM is most of their models have the cabin air filter (atleast the ones i have owned). I was getting a strong smoke smell out of the vents last night, changed out the cabin filter and now its gone.Of course it was the original one the car came with in 2011.
