I'm sure you'll do fine. If I could do it without any problems (out of the ordinary) I'm sure you can

I just used a 3/8 ratchet, 3" extentsion and the plug socket for 3v spark plugs. I didn't spray them with anything.

I turned them loose a 1/4 - 1/2 turn then tighten back up and repeat until it came out. You'll know if the plugs going to snap if it's not making any noise on the way out. If it's making a racket on the way out you know it's in one piece

I still had 3 break but it was actually quicker to get the broken ones out with the Lisle tool than it was trying not to break them. It was time consuming but wasn't quite the horror story it's made out to be.

It was warm for the first 5 plugs because I drove it 20 miles to my buddies garage to work on it but by time I got to the last 3 plugs (the ones that broke) it was cold.

Personally I wouldn't do it while it's warm again, at least not around operating temps. in fear of stripping the threads. That didn't occur to me until a couple days later.

Might be going to look at a Ford Tempo today. I'm going to be doing the exhaust manifolds on my truck soon and going to need something to drive around. Plus I can get the car cheaper than it would be to have a shop do the manifolds.

Just need to find a garage that I can let my truck sit in for a couple days.

Here lately, I'm over in your area by plane. But I looked it up last night, and it said Ford went with a one piece plug on my type of engine in 2010. Not sure if it's true or not.

I remember them talking about updated design in late 09 so thats very plausible.

They revised the heads and plugs in early 08. You have one piece plugs.
