So as I said before I have no idea how these fender flares mount, so I swung by the local Ford dealer and drove to the back of the lot and looked at some of the flares on the FX4s they had sitting there. Looks almost like they're mounted with push pins or those Christmas tree style plastic retainers. Which means there must be pre-drilled holes. Upon further inspection, my truck's fenders have no pre-drilled holes. Not too thrilled about drilling into the truck :/ Am I on the right path here? Any of you have any experience with these? I may have to start a thread in the appropriate forum to see if I can get some feedback.

By the way, the FX4 I was looking at was $54k Beautiful though.

Yes, I think the factory flares are drilled and pinned.

yeah the non-flared truck probably aren't set up for it and the stock flared trucks are.

I'm gonna make some flares for my truck

Yep, unfortunately you'll have to drill.

I caught myself looking at the 14s again.. Found a Fully loaded Sunset Metallic EB XLT with leather, hids, 4x4 in Georgetown.. 46,500 sticker price and they are advertising it for $33,265. If they would offer me what the other place did a couple months ago that would only leave about 7500 to 8k difference.

I have a email in to them maybe the internet salesman would do a little better on it

I think the sunset looks nicer with the chrome bumpers / accents than your Kodiak or black
