For when an oil change is due, I use the System % used screen. They always reset it to 10,000 miles so when it gets to 50%, I change it. I also keep a service record where miles are recorded.

I use to do it from 100 to 50 percent but i would forget to check it, so now i do 50 percent when i get the oil changed and when the oil change reminder light comes on then its right at 5k, the dealer always puts the oil change sticker on the windshield and it shows 3k interval, so i subtract the 3k and that tells me what my mileage was when i got it changed

No rain yet today...maybe I woke up in a different state! Close to 5 inches of rain the past two days...at the camp in Grand isle which is 50 miles away they had close to 10 inches of rain. Granddaddy of Louisiana fishing rodeos is this Thursday..Friday and Saturday. Grand Isle Tarpon Rodeo..sometimes more partying then fishing!

Watching cartoons at the dealership while they change the oil and rotate the tires.

I'd take a nap but might not wake up when they call my name. May just live dangerously and do it anyway.
