This is what was left of a friend of mines house after Katrina...Shell Beach, La. St. Bernard Parish Sept. 2005...house was close to a hundred year's old and had been in the family for that long.

[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]Before and after pics of my brother in law's fishing camp before pic was in 2003 and after Katrina in 2005. 95% of the property in St. Bernard Parish was destroyed or damaged by multiple 20 to 30 ft waves with random tornadoes also hitting.

That was the buddy of mine...I was the picture taker. That was all he could do to keep from crying.

Too bad all you saw was the pictures of the superdome and the lower 9th ward in New Orleans of the damage. They never show lower Plaquemines Parish...St. Bernard Parish and the Mississippi coast that had the real storm damage and not just from levees failing.

I realize that...at least we have a lot of warning to get out and evacuate. Year's ago people didn't have that luxury and were caught off guard and drowned.

About to hook 8200lbs to the back of the ecobeast and take a little trip to fort worth tomorrow. Hope this stupid 45mph wind stops sometime before then

next week ill be going up ranger pulling the same load.. Ill be sure to take a video of the climb just for you. That way you can see how a real engine is suppose to pull.

How many times are you going to pull over to let it cool down?

Come talk to me after you've dragged over 10k 30 miles in 6" of snow.
