they made it look sleeker......looks like a few of the fusion design ques were added to the front.....looks good .....imo

I love it, although the guys on the mustang forums are crying because it doesn't look mustang... Isn't the mustang supposed to be sleek fast wild and free? This is... 200 lbs lighter and a 2.3 i4 ecoboost 305hp 3.7 v6 at the same and 5.0 v8 at 420+... IRS and bigger brakes. Look out camaro...

I feel like if the new Fusion had come out after this new Mustang, people wouldn't complain as much about how it looks like a Fusion. Ford probably wanted to see how people reacted to the Aston influence on the Fusion before trying it on the Mustang.

The grille isn't really that different from the 13 model either. They just brought the bottom in on the main grille.

The new Mustang look's pretty darn good...combo of retro and modern design. I would love to have a convertible to ride around in this 80 degree weather right now!
