My niece's son is paired with a golfer named Fehn and they're one stroke back at 63...Ashton had one eagle and a few birdies today. His dad was on the Univ of Houston's golf team year's ago and almost made the pro tour but had to settle foe a club pro job in Houston. He's my oldest daughter's Godchild so she and my son in law had to make the trip! Poor old me has to settle for being the chauffeur to deliver and pick them up from the airport.

I played football and baseball in high school and that's about it. I do have three nephew's who played college football. One played for Rice University and the other two played for smaller school's..Carniege Mellon in Pittsburgh and Catholic Univ in Washington D.C. One other played a year for Richmond in Virginia.

One of my very best friends is a freshman inside linebacker for Rice right now. And I have heard of Carneige Melon, though I don't think it's because of the school . . . That's pretty neat though.

11 hours of sleep and I'm still tired. A little lawn mowing should do the trick.

Come on rain! Cold front coming in.

Supposed to meet up with a couple this eve for dinner. Old college friends we've stayed in touch with for 50 years. Will meet at a restaurant halfway between.

the HD got 17 mpg on her trip last night....drove back in some pounding hard rain....but got nothing at the house until 2 am...

its 52* but wakeup temp was at 42* at 5 am

going the game last night it was 84*...100 miles into the trip hit the cold front and temp dropped to 63* in just 5 miles....

this is tough...only going on 3 hours of sleep....

Same, but my start and end times were pushed back quite a bit
