It has and I love it.

Just keep going through the phases that I never drive my truck except as a mule and a diesel would last forever in that role.

I wonder if getting a 6.0 with my lack of driving would be a good idea... That way I could work my way up to the needed upgrades.

Why not just pick up a beater car like a focus or a civic, and let your truck take a break, and go to a weekend cruiser

I already have a beater. The truck is basically a weekender and a boat mule.

Also about to have a 1967 MGB which was my Dad's first bought new car. He is giving it to me as well as a wad of $$$ to get it running.

Yeah I know. You don't want to drive it farther than you want to push it. Its got a positive ground electrical system too. Dumb brits. Too bad dad didn't buy american. lol

Getting ready to crawl under the truck to change the rack. Doesn't look like it's too bad to get out....from past experiences that tells me it'll be a PITA
