I decided to do an experiment.

I made a decision last Friday (4/19/13) to see what would happen if I deleted the following from my diet: sodas (So long Dr Pepper), sweet tea, sugary drinks, caffeine, chips (and most processed foods). Notice I didn't cut beer out. I don't drink much of it anyway.

This decision has in turn has automatically caused me to start eating healthier and less.

I started this experiment with a starting weight of 324 and am down to 312. As of 4/28/13 I have lost 12 pounds with no exercise. That's 12 pounds lost in 9 days.

I think I'll wait a couple more weeks and see if I get below 300 and then start exercising a little more. I can't do much because of the bad knee but IMO every pound lost will take more pressure off the knees.

Good start...even cutting out little things can help. I've been walking a mile or two every day and that's been helping me out a lot. Cutting out the sugar and salt and junk food is always a good idea too. I drink a lot of water instead of cold drink's and only drink 2 or 3 beer's a week...that also help's..anyway good luck with your weight loss program.

Looks good Jerame!

Nice job Will, I lost 45-50lbs freshman year of college. Kept it off and have continued to trim up. I went from over 200 to now 173. My original drop was 217 to 165. I lift more so it has gone up... been getting much more definition and have started to get abs... hopefully a 6 pack by xmas. Well on my way. It's a lifestyle change. I'm in very fit condition due to the extreme amounts of cardio I do and strength training.
