Yeah, it was a little disappointing from what they were making it out to be. It was a real treat driving my truck yesterday with the Extreme Street tune and no weight in the bed.

It's a high of 75 here today. Just thought I'd toss that one in there.

That's great! Thing is, it's a lot of fun. It's challenging and yes, taking those classes is the very best way. Quit a few just give up without proper direction and some are all mouth, whom would be better off using super glue.
Once you get it, it's like a little piece of heaven ? Well, then the fun really begins, seriously. Favorite hobby over here.

Finally made it....took 3.5 hours to drive 100 miles.......some of the worst snow removal that I've ever seen.....but when I started out this morning most of the highways were still closed...

I agree Jim, I love making things and this will be right up my alley. My business idea focuses around exhaust, I want to try to design a muffler line. I found a company that makes prototypes so if I can really think it through, I could start a small local company and even make kits for our trucks and gradually spread to other vehicles and still sell the universal mufflers. Baby steps, but one of my brothers is very interested in the idea as well.

I thought about that first Nah, great idea tho! Once you achieve that, get into making header systems. I bet you could get that down after a little bit of time and there's not to many doing it. The ones that are charge an arm an leg.

Exactly! I want to focus on these trucks and Ford's... I'm hoping I can pull it off. I'll do it on the side and work the full time job after school and get my training done where I can, and then if I feel I can support myself, I'll leave whatever job I have at the time. No cheapy stuff though, all top notch materials and bends

Also, have you ever priced out a Magnaflow direct fit replacement system up at the Y. Ridiculously expensive. You can make one for much much less, but again, there isn't to many that offer these parts that are affordable. Look it up, its pricey.
