I really want a set of NFAB 6 steps for mine but the factory boards stick out far enough to stop door dings, I'm still deciding.

If you don't have emissions you could try just cutting the muffler off and see if you like that. I wish I woulda done that first instead of wasting money on the Mag. Sounds great, deep with no drone.

I'm not wanting it loud like my other truck. Just a better flow than what stock is.

With the cats on these trucks it's far from loud.

From the Lava description.....

Chemical Guys LAVA Luminous Glow Infusion Wax protects against rain, snow, road salt, grime, and heat, all while making the paint look rich and reflective. Regular washing is easier because dirt is less able to bond to the slick finish created by LAVA.

Yes, it may protect great against winter elements but I would be more focused on the durability of it, as in the months of protection. For winter I would want something that lasts 5-8 months, not the 2-3 months that is often found with carnauba waxes. Unless the amount of months of protection isn't important to you?

I'm not trying to discourage the product or from what you want to get. I guess I'm just thinking in terms of what I would want from my winter protection, so sorry for that. In the end, everyone has different needs and what they want out of their products.

It may be time to put a resonator on to tame the exhaust note down a little. My sister came flying up on my tail this morning I got on it pretty hard and she said I scared the crap out of the person in the car that happened to be right next to the exhaust when I romped on it. Could have been the smoke too.........

Whoops!!!

A quality paint sealant such as Duragloss 105 or 501, both combined with 601, and then there's Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0. Two waxes that really act like sealants in terms of durability are by Collinite, 845 and 476. I know I'm pretty much giving you the products that are under Autogeek's Winter Car Care section, but if you search around over on their forum you'll see those are indeed what many of use for winter protection. Of course there are those that opted for the coatings route as well.

I use two coats of the Wolfgang on my truck.
