First part of the story for my bad luck last week......

The shop where I work part time was foreclosed on and the bank siezed the building and changed the locks so none of us can get our tools out until the bank gives us a date to get them.....the bank has to inventory the whole shop......hopefully they don't find out that my tool chest+tools was a 50/50 deal with the owner.....if they do I'm only going to get it half back

I've got around $7500 stuck into tools.....plus the last 4 paychecks bounced

The owner's gambling caught up to him....

So now I'm looking for another part time job with flexible hours....

Part 2 later on....

Picked the checks up last weekend and deposited last week.....the bank called on Friday saying that they didn't clear.....

The owner is probably going to file bankruptcy so I'll be out that money unless the my lawyer buddy can go after him.....

The sad part is that there were some vehicles getting some major custom work done and theyre partially complete....I really feel bad for those customers....

Not going to lie, I honestly thought the worst was going to happen (i.e. you losing your house). Now I just really hope my example doesn't become Part 2.

But reality is that your situation is still horrible. I seriously wish you the best of luck at getting your tools and hard earned money back. Hopefully things will work out.

ugh, just got done rolling around on concrete. Had to swap tanks on my pickup... when a half inch pile of rust and dirt about 4' in diameter is left when you're done, you know you live in the rust belt... 88, don't get too worked up over the situation, you are not to blame. If anything you should be more so peeved off on how the owners selfish decisions is hurting those he is employing. like Chris said, i really his example doesn't become part 2...
