It's a My neighborhood thing. Across the street never loses power, different grid than our side.
I went down to the Conoco earlier, topped off. They had gone up a dime, 3.55.

Just heard from my son, they are in Austin. They found out that there is no damage to their home in Beaumont. Found out earlier that my daughter's house appears intact. So maybe they lucked out

If the stations had gone up .50ish to make it an even $4, I could live with it. It's when they go up to $5 that something should be done. Our governor issued a state of emergency simply for the gouging. Gas can be hiked like 20% but no more under SOE.
There's plenty of stations here still at $4.50 or more.

My wife's sister lost power and a fence in north Houston, her sister's parents parents had some damage to their house in Houston.
