How do you get to the air filter on the 5.0. I popped the clips off the front of the box, but you can't lift the lid as the air tube seems to be holding it down. Either that or there is something restricting movement of the lid.

I suppose you're right, I guess I'm in denial because I really don't want to replace it Might as well look into a new line either way. It is leaking so it needs fixed whether it's the problem or not.

Morning.

About to go out to the garage and satisfy my Deere addiction that I've been ignoring all week.

Figured out how to get into the air filter box. A thread on another site was all wrong. You don't mess with the tabs in the rear, they are hinges. You have to remove the the rubber tube going to the throttle body, then the lid will lift off.

Nice work 88!

Tried out the one of the jetski's I rebuilt. The bottom end had about 1/2 inch of soup it had to cough out from the pervious owners untill she started to run right. Water was so cold it hurt to stand in ankle deep and it was only 40 F out

That tile work is excellent. Mowed and put fertilizer on, took Maggie in to get stiches removed from her eye. I'm pooped.
